8:00 am Registration begins for all participants
10:00 am Conference Inauguration
11:00 am Dr. Mohan Mathew will deliver an address on The State of Anesthesiology in India
11:30 am Dr. Kurien Thomas will speak on Difficult Airway Management, with an emphasis on the latest uses of Videolaryngoscopy (45 minute presentation and 15 minute Q&A session)
12:30 pm Dr. Kurian Thomas will speak on Healthcare Delivery Systems in India and the United States with a special emphasis on the field of anesthesiology (45 minute session and 15 Q&A session)
1:30 pm Buffet Lunch for conference participants
2:30 pm Dr. Robert Koorn will present a lecture on Orthopedic Anesthesia and the Role of Regional Anesthesia (45 minute lecture with a 15 minute Q&A session)
3:30 pm Dr. Enrique Goytizolo will give a talk on the Current Concepts of Acute Pain Management (45 minute presentation with a 15 minute Q&A session)
4:30 pm Tea for conference participants and end of Day 1

9:00 am Dr. Robert Koorn will present a talk on The Basics of Ultrasound Guided Insertion of Perineural Catheters
10:00 am – 1 pm Regional Anesthesia Workshop, Group Assignment and Plan (4 stations, approximately 45 min. each)
- Upper Extremity 1-Supraclavicular, axillary blocks presented by Dr. Robert Koorn
- Upper Extremity 2-Interscalene, infraclavicular blocks with Dr. Tony Tsai
- Lower Extremity- Femoral and lateral distal sciatic (popliteal) blocks with Dr. Enrique Goytizolo
- Nerve Blocks Using Conventional Nerve Stimulators- Femoral and Interscalene blocks with Dr. Kurian Thomas & Dr Jose Castro
1:30 pm Lunch Buffet for Participants
2:30-4:30 pm Workshops continue until all participants have completed all stations
4:30 pm Tea for conference participants as Day 2 ends

9 am to 1 pm Dr. Mohan Mathew will lead the conference participants to the Lakeshore Hospital operating rooms to observe local faculty insert perineural catheters in orthopedic patients
1:30 pm Participants return to the Ramada Resort for lunch as Day 3 ends
